The Black Sheep, an eccentric name for a product that stresses out its diversity and particularity. Its thoroughly modern philosophy is evident from its contemporary appearance, its screw cap and its characteristic freshness. It is produced at the Mackedon Winery at Platanotopos, Kavala, while the vineyards are found in a small distance.
The Black Sheep red wine is made from the varieties Syrah and Merlot, which cultivation has offered satisfactory results.

Vinification Method
The pre-fermentation extraction (skin contact) method is applied for three days. Then follows a classic red wine vinification, ages in French oak barrels for 4-6 months. The choice of screw cap enhances the fresh approach that is carried out in the classic varieties of Macedon winery.

Tasting Notes
A wine with ruby color and purple highlights, with aromas of cherry, violet and plum, wrapped up in a velvety texture with a pleasant mineral aftertaste and harmony between the acidity and the tannins.
