Its name refers to a great, noble product. The Lion D’ Or family is produced at the Mackedon Winery at Platanotopos, Kavala. It is a single-variety wine with screw cap and “lively” appearance.
For Lion D’Or red wine we chose the international variety Cabernet Sauvignon, which cultivation on the foothills of Mount Pangeo has offered very good results.

Tasting Notes
Vivid ruby red color. Wine with rich aromas of sweet fruit, wild cherry and green pepper, typical aromas of young Cabernet Sauvignon. Well-rounded body with lively tannins and cool botanical aftertaste.
Aging
Will respond to aging for up to 5-6 years after harvest.
Perfect Pairing
Served at 16-18οC, accompanies pleasantly roasted meats and vegetables, braised meat, various kind of meat and poultry with delicate sauces and medium strong cheeses.
